A business man had to go to New York on a business trip. Instead of staying at a hotel he decided to stay with old friends in their mansion outside of the city. After a night of dinner and chatting with his friends he went to bed. The business man did not sleep well; he tossed and turned and his sleep was interrupted by strange dreams. At 3:00am he woke up because he thought he heard a car rolling up the gravel driveway. When the business man looked out his bedroom window, he saw a long, black hearse pull up. The driver, his face pale and sunken in, got out of the car and opened the back door to the hearse. The man saw that the hearse was filled with people, their faces bloodied and clothing torn. When the man looked again at the driver, he saw the driver hold out his hand, beckoning the man to come down. “There’s room for one more,” said the driver. The businessman immediately dove back under the covers and waited for morning to come. The next morning, when the man told the friends he was staying with what he had seen the night before, they passed it off as a bad dream. “It seemed pretty real to me,” said the business man. The man then went downtown to his meeting on the 17th floor. When the meeting was done, the man made his way to the elevator to get back to street level. It was the end of the day, and the elevator was packed. An older gentleman already on the crowded elevator saw the businessman coming toward him and shouted, “There’s room for one more!” to the businessman. The businessman started towards the elevator, and then saw that the older gentleman had the same pale and sunken in face as the hearse driver. He froze, and before he could yell out a warning to the passengers on the elevator, the doors closed in front of his eyes. The next thing the businessman heard was a loud snap and the screams of the elevator passengers plummeting to their death. DUN DUN DUUNNN!
