Hello Kitty® Nerd rounds out Mimoco’s Comic Con lineup, along with new Star Wars™ and original characters to celebrate five years of MIMOBOT (SAN DIEGO, CA – July 21, 2010) -– Mimoco, renowned maker of MIMOBOT® designer USB flash drives, continues its five-year anniversary celebration at this year’s San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) by debuting Hello Kitty Nerd® MIMOBOT® - the newest addition to its popular Hello Kitty line. Hello Kitty Nerd joins Mimoco’s full lineup of new MIMOBOT characters premiering at Comic Con and will be available for purchase and on display at booth #4938 on the main floor and #2913 in the Star Wars Pavilion. Wearing thick-rimmed black spectacles, a pocket protector, and a checkered bow on her head, the new MIMOBOT reflects Hello Kitty’s supercute studious and inner geek side. The character joins five other Hello Kitty MIMOBOT USB flash drive designs in Mimoco’s crossover line dedicated to the pop icon from SANRIO®. Following Comic Con, Mimoco will unveil the next phase of their licensed flash drive collection in honor of SANRIO’s 50th anniversary. In addition to Hello Kitty Nerd, Mimoco is also pre-releasing new Star Wars MIMOBOT Series 6 characters that will be officially launched at next month’s Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando. These characters accompany the newest Star Wars MIMOBOT character, Lobot, a joint Comic Con and Star Wars Celebration V exclusive, limited to 1,000 pieces. Other new MIMOBOT drives dropping at this year’s Comic Con include Mimoco’s original Core Series characters Dr. Knowledgeus and the SDCC exclusive Isadore Glo, a limited edition of 500 units.
