The Great Depression of 2008 Sale (and Contest!)

Woot woot, it's Black Friday time! And Cyber Monday time! And Christmas time, and Hanukkah time, and Kwanzaa time, and Festivus time, and New Years time, and, uh... that's all I can think of. Now friends, in honor of America's current economic situation, we're doing two things:

Firstly, for four days following Thanksgiving (11/28-12/1), EVERYTHING we carry at Mimoco is 36% off! Weird number, no? Well, here's the dealie: it's the Great Depression of 2008 Sale! Seeing as how the Dow Jones has lost (rustling Wall Street Journal, putting on reading glasses, sipping a nice Chianti) 36% of its value this year, we figure it's a fun gimmick for the biggest shopping weekend of the year. The idea is that when the stock market loses, you win! Well, you win at getting a great MIMOBOT or six at a great price. The other thing we're doing is a contest. Comment on this news item with your guess as to what the Dow Jones index will be at the end of the year (points, please... for example, today it's at 8,726.61), and whoever's the closest at the end of 2008 will win a MIMOBOT of his or her choice. Cool, huh? So, how many economists we got in this joint? Oh, and whoever wins... will you be my investment adviser? I've got about sixteen dollars to put in the market, and... you know... I want a yacht.
