More about Ginchy: Three years ago the Ginchy MIMOBOT Series by Lili Chin and Brian McCarty rocked our first ever MIMOBOT Artist Series. They’ve been long gone ever since, but today we’re re-releasing a handful of
Ramona,
Betty Lou, and
Link – ten to twenty of each to be exact – in a never before released 8GB capacity. Since quantities are super-limited, there are only three ways to exclusively get the Ginchy MIMOBOT drives.
1. Rock on down to the rockabilly section of our website, right
here, right now!
2. Five units of each Ginchy MIMOBOT are available at the MIMOBOT Pop-UP Shop @ Munky King party tonight from 7pm – 10pm. See above for more info.
3. Enter our Ginchy MIMOBOT trivia contest where you can test your rockabilly knowledge! Two lucky winners will be randomly chosen from all correct entries received by November 12th at 11:59PM Eastern to each win an 8GB Ginchy MIMOBOT! To enter, email your answers to
ginchys_rock@mimoco.com. Only one entry per person. To be eligible, the following three questions must be answered correctly.
A. What magazine was the first to categorize a song as “rockabilly”?
B. In 1975 which famous Beatles band member released a cover album of rockabilly hits?
C. Which artist, who went on to become one of the most famous recording artists ever, was discovered when he walked into Sun Records to record himself as a surprise to his mother?
