mimobots the perfect gifts, sez Wired

What do mimobots have in common with the Apple iPhone, Nintendo Wii, BlackBerry Pearl, and the Toyota Prius? They're all ultimate gifts, according to the most awesome of tech magazines!

So we got our hands on the latest issue of Wired (one of our very favorite magazines, up there with Giant Robot and Beautiful Decay), and were shocked and amazed to see our very own R2-D2 mimobot from the Star Wars Series 1 mentioned as the ultimate gift... for a system administrator!

"...this is for thwarting system failures and booting Linux off of any machine anywhere in your network, all the while showing off your geek cred with a little '80s droid action."

We've gotta say, R2 is pretty cool; 'geek' cred is one thing, but remember that Star Wars is hawtness no matter who you are and the Star Wars Series 1 mimobots are doubly hawt.

Check out the current issue, in stores now, to see what you should get for Paris Hilton, Leonardo DiCaprio, and other cool people - we still think it should be mimobots!
