Help Susan G Komen's Race for the Cure this Mother's Day!

Greetings one and all, and happy upcoming Mother's Day! For Mother's Day this year, we wanted to help out our community as much as we can: that's why in celebration, we're donating 10% of all online profits to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

For those of you who don't know, the Susan G. Komen fund is a huge, active organization of breast cancer survivors and activists. The fund started as a promise between two sisters, a beautiful, sad, and unforgettable story of family and the struggles of cancer. Now the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is one of the world's leaders in stimulating research in the fight, nay the race, to cure cancer.

Help out by donating directly to the fund or buy purchasing a MIMOBOT at our lab store. Happy Mother's Day to all, and together we can help make the future free of breast cancer.

tokidoki for MIMOBOT Now Shipping, Preloaded with All-New mimoZine Issue 2

It's here, y'all: the tokidoki for MIMOBOT series of designer USB flash drives you've all been patiently waiting for and preordering is now available and shipping! Meletta, Pastaio and Pirate Nero, the newest MIMOBOT Artist Series, have been in the works for a while now, and we think they've come across pretty nicely. With the two worlds of MIMOBOT and tokidoki colliding in some kind of crazy pop-fashion-consumer-tech-ball-of-blazing-glory, how could they not rock?

We all know the creative genius of Simone Legno and his tokidoki brand. What we didn't anticipate was how amazing those designs would look on a MIMOBOT canvas. And they do. Now, with the ultimate pop fashion design translated to a MIMOBOT, your data can ride in style while your flash drive shows just how hip and cool you are. You've got the tokidoki purse, the tokidoki t-shirt, the tokidoki earrings and chain. Now you just need the tokidoki for MIMOBOT flash drive to hang from your purse or belt loop to let people know, once and for all, how much you've got it goin' on.

As you know, any MIMOBOT comes with a great deal of awesome preloaded content, and this release is particularly special: Issue 2 of the MIMOZINE Digital Magazine is here, and making its first appearance on the tokidoki for MIMOBOT series! If you remember (click here if you need a refresher), Issue 1 was a groundbreaking success, the first digital magazine ever delivered via flash drive - and MIMOBOT flash drives of awesomeness, at that! Featuring comedy troupe Poykpac, musical groupe Art Brut, and supvervillian in a coupe Sucklord, we plumbed the depths of pop culture to find you emerging creative genius.

This time around, we done it again, and with an expanded lineup! We bring you interviews with and tracks by a variety of bands from South by Southwest including Chikita Violenta, The Wedding Present and Curumin; a video from Japanese pop-rock icons Love Psychedelico; interviews with Sam Borkson and Arturo Sandoval of FriendsWithYou; a look into the Scope Art Fair with a focus on a very interesting piece by Peter Schmitt; a refreshing spring yoga meditation; The Super Sucklord on location at New York's St. Patrick's Day Parade; and episode 1 of VBS.tv's provocative ecological documentary series "Toxic: Garbage Island." Phew, that's a lot of features, ain't it?

MIMOZINE Issue 2 is now available on all tokidoki MIMOBOT purchases and will soon come to all Core and Artist Series MIMOBOT characters. Get it today, because... well, because it's awesome.

    mimoZine Issue 2 is HERE!

Greetings one and all! We're so glad you're here for our big announcement - the mimoZine Issue 2! If you remember, mimoZine Issue 1 was our big splash in the world of digital content, bringing you the world's first digital magazine delivered via flash drive! The first issue was great, featuring Poykpac, Art Brut, The Super Sucklord and more. Well, if you liked Issue 1, then Issue 2 is going to knock your argyle foot-warming insulation accessories off!

MimoZine Issue 2 is releasing in conjunction with the all-new tokidoki for MIMOBOT series, and soon will be available preloaded on each and every Core and Artist Series MIMOBOT. Our lineup of entertainment and, dare I say, even some edutainment, is even better this time. Start with a trip to South by Southwest, interviewing some awesome bands with the help of our friends IODA. Not only did we get up close and personal with the wicked talented musicians, but we got you, our faithful MIMOBOT friends, a sampler of tracks by the bands! Now with mimoZine, check out Modey Lemon, Andy Davis, Chikita Violenta, Curumin, The Wedding Present, and Mark Rae of Yes King. Talk about some seriously awesome musical entries. We also got a sweet new video from HackTone Records' Japanese Pop-Rock superstars Love Psychedelico.

Hmm, enough music? This is plenty of auditory goodness? Fine then, we'll move on... to the visual artists, and the wonderful world of ocular goodness! We've put together a very interesting interview with Sam Borkson and Arturo Sandoval, the Miami-based creators of FriendsWithYou. You may know FWY from their amazing works, their vinyl toy and plushie creations, or from our own FriendsWithYou for MIMOBOT series. Either way, you should know them - they've got a really inspirational vision of the world, and their FriendsWithYou creations are here to help the world realize that vision. We also went down to the Scope Art Festival in Miami and found a beautiful, moving, touching sculpture that brings humanity, technology and ecology together in one creation straight out of the mind of artist Peter Schmitt.

Alright now, buckle up, because it's about to get real. We enlisted the help of VBS.tv, the broadcasting arm of Vice Magazine, to bring you some really really real stuff for this issue of mimoZine. What we offer you is Episode 1 of their new ecological documentary series, "Toxic: Garbage Island." The show takes on the problem of waste, particularly non biodegradable plastics, and how it is seeping into the very water we drink every day. Scary, but eye-opening. The truth about ecology is out there, and VBS.tv and mimoZine aim to bring it to you.

After all that stress about toxins and waste, it's time to relax. For our next entry in the mimoZine Issue 2, we went to New York and met Sat Jivan Singh Khalsa, a renowned Yoga master, who walks us (and you) through a refreshing, relaxing springtime meditation. It only takes a few minutes, you can do it at work, and you'll feel so much better about the hustle and bustle (mostly just 'bustle' once you've finished this meditation) of the modern world.

And finally, what would any good mimoZine be without the one, the only, the Super Sucklord making an appearance? The bootleg toymaker/costumed DJ/reluctant supervillain took to the streets of New York City for the 2008 St. Patrick's Day parade, searching for the true meaning of St. Patrick and what it means to be Irish that one day of the year. Needless to say, it took quite a bit of searching to find an answer that wasn't as inebriated as the individual who uttered it (no, Jimmy, St. Patrick did not introduce alcohol to America, and leprechauns are not the same as hobbits). Along the way, to coin a phrase, 'hilarity ensues.' We're serious, this made us laugh so hard our dentures fell out, and the company dental plan does not cover Sucklord-related accidents.

Well, that's pretty much the mimoZine. Trust me when I say it's awesome, and you should buy one for every friend you have. And, if they'll still talk to you after they've seen it, you can either have some deep, meaningful discussions while meditating, you can discuss how much the featured bands totally rocked, and you can try and figure out how Sucklord keeps a straight face when surrounded by obvious nutjobs. Now available on the new tokidoki for MIMOBOT series, and soon to be available on all other Artist and Core Series MIMOBOT characters. Cheers!

    Simone Legno signing at NYCC

Hey all, we've got huge, exciting news - Simone Legno, the genius behind the tokidoki designs, is going to be signing at the MIMOBOT booth at New York Comic Con! In conjunction with the tokidoki for MIMOBOT release (remember folks, we're launching these at NYCC), Mr. Legno will be making a personal appearance, and any of you tokidoki fans lucky enough to get a sticket will have a chance to meet him and get a signature!

What's a sticket, you say? How do I get one? That's easy - a 'sticket' is a sticker ticket! We'll be giving out numbered stickers on Friday, April 18th, at the MIMOBOT booth. To get one, you have to sign up on the 'I Want To Meet Simone' sheet at our booth. The 'sticket', combined with your name on the list, will be your opportunity to meet the man everyone loves.

The signing will be Saturday, April 19th from 2-4 for everyone with a sticket!

Please note: we will not be able to handle a mob scene at the sticket signup. If it's too crazy and we can't determine the order people arrived in, we reserve the right to implement a sticket number lottery system in order to choose who gets a signature and when.
