    mimoZine Issue 2 is HERE!

Greetings one and all! We're so glad you're here for our big announcement - the mimoZine Issue 2! If you remember, mimoZine Issue 1 was our big splash in the world of digital content, bringing you the world's first digital magazine delivered via flash drive! The first issue was great, featuring Poykpac, Art Brut, The Super Sucklord and more. Well, if you liked Issue 1, then Issue 2 is going to knock your argyle foot-warming insulation accessories off!

MimoZine Issue 2 is releasing in conjunction with the all-new tokidoki for MIMOBOT series, and soon will be available preloaded on each and every Core and Artist Series MIMOBOT. Our lineup of entertainment and, dare I say, even some edutainment, is even better this time. Start with a trip to South by Southwest, interviewing some awesome bands with the help of our friends IODA. Not only did we get up close and personal with the wicked talented musicians, but we got you, our faithful MIMOBOT friends, a sampler of tracks by the bands! Now with mimoZine, check out Modey Lemon, Andy Davis, Chikita Violenta, Curumin, The Wedding Present, and Mark Rae of Yes King. Talk about some seriously awesome musical entries. We also got a sweet new video from HackTone Records' Japanese Pop-Rock superstars Love Psychedelico.

Hmm, enough music? This is plenty of auditory goodness? Fine then, we'll move on... to the visual artists, and the wonderful world of ocular goodness! We've put together a very interesting interview with Sam Borkson and Arturo Sandoval, the Miami-based creators of FriendsWithYou. You may know FWY from their amazing works, their vinyl toy and plushie creations, or from our own FriendsWithYou for MIMOBOT series. Either way, you should know them - they've got a really inspirational vision of the world, and their FriendsWithYou creations are here to help the world realize that vision. We also went down to the Scope Art Festival in Miami and found a beautiful, moving, touching sculpture that brings humanity, technology and ecology together in one creation straight out of the mind of artist Peter Schmitt.

Alright now, buckle up, because it's about to get real. We enlisted the help of VBS.tv, the broadcasting arm of Vice Magazine, to bring you some really really real stuff for this issue of mimoZine. What we offer you is Episode 1 of their new ecological documentary series, "Toxic: Garbage Island." The show takes on the problem of waste, particularly non biodegradable plastics, and how it is seeping into the very water we drink every day. Scary, but eye-opening. The truth about ecology is out there, and VBS.tv and mimoZine aim to bring it to you.

After all that stress about toxins and waste, it's time to relax. For our next entry in the mimoZine Issue 2, we went to New York and met Sat Jivan Singh Khalsa, a renowned Yoga master, who walks us (and you) through a refreshing, relaxing springtime meditation. It only takes a few minutes, you can do it at work, and you'll feel so much better about the hustle and bustle (mostly just 'bustle' once you've finished this meditation) of the modern world.

And finally, what would any good mimoZine be without the one, the only, the Super Sucklord making an appearance? The bootleg toymaker/costumed DJ/reluctant supervillain took to the streets of New York City for the 2008 St. Patrick's Day parade, searching for the true meaning of St. Patrick and what it means to be Irish that one day of the year. Needless to say, it took quite a bit of searching to find an answer that wasn't as inebriated as the individual who uttered it (no, Jimmy, St. Patrick did not introduce alcohol to America, and leprechauns are not the same as hobbits). Along the way, to coin a phrase, 'hilarity ensues.' We're serious, this made us laugh so hard our dentures fell out, and the company dental plan does not cover Sucklord-related accidents.

Well, that's pretty much the mimoZine. Trust me when I say it's awesome, and you should buy one for every friend you have. And, if they'll still talk to you after they've seen it, you can either have some deep, meaningful discussions while meditating, you can discuss how much the featured bands totally rocked, and you can try and figure out how Sucklord keeps a straight face when surrounded by obvious nutjobs. Now available on the new tokidoki for MIMOBOT series, and soon to be available on all other Artist and Core Series MIMOBOT characters. Cheers!
